Inevitably, time passes and leaves its marks on our skin and face. The first signs are wrinkles.
But we can easily counter these effects with simple, practical exercises that help keep our faces smoother.
Facial yoga is a natural ally in the fight against aging, helping your skin regain its tone, elasticity, and texture.
Don’t miss these simple exercises:
Eye contour:
Place your thumbs under your eyes and your index fingers just below your eyebrows. Gently pull as if you were opening your eyes wider.
Hold this position, slowly close your eyes, and try to tighten them.
Maintain for about five seconds, then slowly return to the starting position.
Repeat 4 times.
Forehead and eyebrows:
Place your index fingers on your eyebrows and pull outward toward the sides of your face.
Frown and hold for 5 seconds.
Repeat 4 times.
Nasolabial folds:
Slightly open your mouth. With clean hands, place your thumbs under your upper lip, positioning them so that your nails face your teeth. Push your thumbs upward while resisting with your lips by pressing down. Hold for 5 seconds, then relax. Repeat 4 times.
Neck and jawline:
Smile and stretch your lips horizontally as much as you can. This will contract your neck, promoting skin tightening and toning the muscles. Hold this position as long as possible, then relax. Repeat 3 times.
As with any workout, consistency is key to seeing results. It won’t take long, and you’ll notice improvements in a short time.
